Recorded as the title piece on Sky Blue (2007), this piece is a ballad/soprano feature in the key of Gb that features soft chorale playing. Sky Blue was commissioned by The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College and given its world premiere at The Kaye Playhouse, New York City, on June 17, 2004. Written in dedication to a dear friend named Kate Sullivan, Sky Blue is one of our most requested pieces in concert.
