5 reeds, 4 trumpets, 3 trombones, 1 bass trombone, piano, guitar, bass, drums, and we include an accordion part in case you find yourself doing other pieces of mine with accordion.
Recorded as the title track on Coming About, this work features piano and tenor (in the reed 4 part). I've tried to capture the wonderful sensation of sailing. Each of the solos has a very different character, and those solos, along with showy sections for the horns, all contribute to the highly climactic peak that makes this piece a good closer for a concert.
Along with the score & parts, you'll also get interviews with the musicians who recorded the solos on this piece. This is a rather long-form composition, so you will benefit from the video I've made on the rehearsal and performance of this piece.
